Mads Mikkelsen

Before I begin: I bought Galaxy Quest last week! Well, that and eight other movies. But Galaxy Quest is the one I've watched. Fantastic:)


I had a dream the other night where I could not only fly, but heal wounds and mend things...I completely resided a house with a touch of my hand. It was AWESOME. I even turned a toy cell phone into a real cell phone.


You know what the best part was? That wasn't even the best dream of the night:)

The BEST dream of the night was the next dream. I was at some swanky gathering, not unlike the soirees seen in The Aviator (which I had watched just before falling asleep), and I run into Mads Mikkelsen. Who is Mads Mikkelsen? Le Chiffre, el hombre malo de Casino Royale that weeps blood. He is also, however in a film entitled After the Wedding, for which I had recently seen the trailer at International Cinema when I saw Khadak (refer to previous post).

At any rate, Mads and I were both hitting up the food table when I say something totally lame and embarass myself. I mean, it's Mads Mikkelsen! You don't just say nothing. So we exchange a few awkward words and I try to avoid him the rest of the night for his own good. Later, however, still trying to leave Mads Mikkelsen in peace, I was humming "Johanna" from Sweeney Todd, and he looked up and exclaimed something along the lines of, "I love that show!". So all in all, we ended up being best friends because we both love Stephen Sondheim. Is there a better basis for a relationship? I submit that there is not.
