Man. March was crazy.
Musically, it was a good month:) The Decemberists released their newest album, The Hazards of Love, on March 24th. But!! They performed the whole album on NPR the week before it was released!!!! Definitely listened to most of that. It was awesome:) As for the new album, it is definitely a break from the norm for Colin. Much more of a hard-rock feel and whatnot. My first listen, I wasn't as impressed as I'd hoped to be, but with each subsequent listen I like it more and more:) I'm so excited to see them in June!!!! Two months and three days:)
I also got into The Arcade Fire. They are so good:) I was introduced to them a long time ago by Jacob but I never really listened to them until I heard "Wake Up" from Funeral in the trailer for Where the Wild Things Are. I'm SO excited for that movie, by the way. I can't believe we have to wait a whole six months! Sheesh.
As for the shows I watch, Scrubs is finally back from its long hiatus. That show makes me happy:) Nothing really epic has been going on lately tho. Some intern drama, but not too much. 30 Rock is still as brilliant as ever. But Lost?!?!?!?! Great Grandmother's Spatula, that show has taken a crazy turn. I wasn't crazy about the first few episodes of the season but it has really picked up. And by picked up I mean picked up, turned itself inside out, and traveled through time. A lot. I dunno, it's just nuts. Much better than that bum of a fourth season.
I think that's it for me and the entertainment scene. I honestly haven't seen many movies lately, either in theatres or at home. I slept through Seven Pounds the other day...I don't like Rosario Dawson. Except in Josie and the Pussycats:)
