It has been a month and ten days since my last post. Sheesh. It's not like there hasn't been anything worth blogging about. For example...
I went home for Christmas break.
I changed my major for the fourth time.
I saw FIGHT CLUB for the first time.
I went to Park City during Sundance for the first time.
I saw Thoroughly Modern Millie here on campus.
I went to my first and second legit gallery openings.
I ate at P712 for the second time.
Each of these totally warrant their own post. Due to my slacking-offness, they will all be smashed into one super-post. I'll try to streamline each point to only the most important stuff.
I went home for Christmas break. Two weeks was NOT long enough. I saw Gypsy on Broadway. Patti Lupone was crazy. I got a crap-ton of AWESOME movies for Christmas. And a watch!
I've changed my major every semester I've been in college. I'm still a registered Pre-Film major, but that's just because I've never had it changed. Slacker-offness to the max. From pre-film, it went to Italian, to Spanish with a TESOL minor, and now to Humanities with an emphasis in who-knows-what and a minor in Spanish. I'm stickin now whether I like it or not.
Fight Club is incredible. As soon as Where is My Mind started and the credits started rolling, I started applauding. All by myself in my bedroom. I immediately had to tell someone about it, so I ripped the disc out of Lucille and ran over to Noah's apartment to tell him he had to watch it RIGHT NOW. But he wasn't home. So I watched Dragon Tales. After THAT, however, I did get the DVD to Noah. He loved it. Of course.
I went to Park City for Sundance! No, I didn't see any films. I went to a shindig put on by a friend of mine for a documentary he and his brothers made, 6 Bucks and a Bottle of Water. Incidentally, this is the night I went to Wyoming for the first time too! Yes, we got horribly lost on the way home. In my defense, it was dark, I wasn't driving, and I'm from freakin Jersey. How am I supposed to know the way home? It was still fun tho. All three hours of the ride home.
Thoroughly Modern Millie was such a fun musical! My friend Mike and I saw it this week, a first for both of us. It was so fun! The costumes were so schnazzy and the singing was INCREDIBLE. Shnap. I've been listening to the soundtrack quite a bit this week.
The second time I went to Park City in two weeks was for the opening of Brian Kershisnik's show there on Main Street. Man, I love that man's work. I mean, just look at it!
This tiny thing does not even remotely do the original any justice. But he's awesome.
On our way home from Park City, Noah, Camreon, and I ate at P712. By the way, I'd really like to capitalize P712 for emphasis, but you canNOT capitalize numbers! It's so lame. I think we should be able to. At any rate, P712 is INCREDIBLE. Expensive food is one of my favorite thingsw, but this transcends all of that. Alla dat. It's pricy, but that's because it is absolutely DIVINE. Their menu is so simple and glorious that it makes me want to cry...I cannot even tell you.
Man. I'm blogged out. See you cats on the flip-flop.

Have you read Fight Club? I don't know about the movie, but the book was the bomb.com!
