This is the brain child of Joss Whedon and his brothers, along with assorted others of course. It was written during the Writer's Strike. Says Wikipedia, "The idea was to create something small and inexpensive, yet professionally done, in a way that would circumvent the issues that were being protested during the strike."
So thank you, Writer's Strike!
It's the story of Dr. Horrible, an aspiring super-villain (played by the fabulous Neil Patrick Harris) all set to song. Really good songs:) It just makes ya feel good!
The only point I'm trying to make is that you NEED to watch this masterpiece. It's 45 minutes long, comprised of three 15-minute episodes originally aired two days apart. Hulu has all three of them, so go there and search it out!

Half the cast of Arrested Development.
Ah, I like Joss Whedon. I'll have to check this out. All I know about him is that he wrote and directed Firefly, which i liked. I think he even wrote the song for the opening credits, which i LOVE.
