I have been watching ALIAS for the past 3 weeks, and I finally finished all five seasons on Thursday. What an amazing show! Oh man. Definitely my obsession show. I mean, I own the gift set of the complete series, I bought a jacket just because it looked like one that Sydney wore in season three, and I own about 6 novels based on season 4. I currently have 3,200 points in the Addicted to Alias Facebook application's trivia game. It's an obsession. Having now seen all 5 seasons quite recently, it is time to run some favorite lists:
THE SERIES...
oh...SPOILER ALERT:)
Season: Two. Everything awesome comes from season 2. Lena Olin as Irina, Will's workin with the CIA, Sydney and Vaughn finally get together, SD-6 is gawn.
Season Finale: Two, of course. Waking up after 2 years with NO memory?!? Vaughn is MARRIED?!?!!? The best.
Character: Jack Bristow, hands down.
Villain: Julian Sark. He's so pretty.
Derevko sister: Irina (duh)
SEASON ONE...
Episode(s): The Box, Parts 1 and 2. Quentin Tarantino is such a pansy.
Moment: Dixon pulling the explosive out of Patel's chest in episode 5 just seconds before it explodes under the bad guys car.
Cliffhanger: Episode 11, Jack tells Sydney and Vaughn that Syd's mom was a KGB operative.
Alias: Episode 21, the cabaret singer
Cameo: Roger Moore
SEASON TWO...
Episode: I know it's cliche, but episode 13. Yes, the one where Syd and Vaughn kiss. BUT! So much more happens. SD-6 and the rest of the Alliance are destroyed, we find out about Francie's double. It is cuh-razy.
Moment: Episode 8. The three Bristow's are fightin' crime, kickin' trash and takin names for FHE tonight...the best moment of the season is the shot of the three of them, machine gun in hand, demolishing the PRF scum with U2's "Walk On" playing in the background.
Other just as favorite moment: Episode 10. Marshall's first alias. He walks up to the desk with an abrasive but quite comical, " 'Ellow."
Okay, another Marshall moment: Episode 11. Marshall writes Suit and Glasses a program to play Pong and tells him to go to hell, THEN saves Sydney's life with his parachute jacket:) What a stud.
Cliffhanger:Episode 6. Vaughn's bloodied fingernails! Bloody, distressing...bloody distressing is what it is. Will he die?!!?
Alias: Epsiode 7. Sydney looks so crazy-Asian it's scary. She has to massage wrinkly old Arvin Sloane...icky! But there is the hope of eliminating Sloane once and for all...and she just looks so Asian!!!
Cameo: Ethan Hawke:)
SEASON THREE...
Episode: Episode 10. Will's back and kickin trash. "I'm 'ere, she's 'ere, we made it..." Oh man. Will is da bomb.
Moments: Episode 4. Syd jumps off a hotel balcony hundreds of feet above ground and dives into the hotel pool....Episode 7. "I won't lose you twice." Awww Vaughn!!! Episode 11, we find out Lauren is Covenant. WHOA. Episode 13, Carrie and Marshall are married by Weiss?!?!
Cliffhanger: Episode 9. She's in that weird building with big 47's everywhere and she opens the door (finally) and all we see is her reaction...pins and frickin needles.
Alias: Will gets this one. See Favorite Episode.
Cameo: Ricky Gervais, hands down.
SEASON 4...
Episode: Episode 5. It reminds me of the episode of the X-Files with the Ubermuenscher. Cute little community of terrorists. And it's just as creepy despite lack of monster.
Moment: Episode 1. Sydney gets that CIA agent into the sweetest impromptu alias EVER. Episode 7. Sydney and Nadia steal the clothes and befriend the bad guys girlfriend...genius. Episode 10, Sydney demolishes Weiss's car to some really sweet song that is really familiar who's name is currently escaping me...Episode 16, "You bought the rumor, you simple-minded dilettante!"
Cliffhanger: Episode 15. Arvin Clone is introduced:)
Alias: Episode 9. Syd as LAUREN?!?! Dang.
Cameo: Joel Gray
SEASON 5...
Episode: Episode 17. The series finale!!! Oh man. I confess, I never really noticed Michael Giacchino's music much before this episode. This episode is literally epic. I mean, it has to be...it's a series finale. I was happy with it:)
Moment: Episode 16. Tom, just before sacrificing himself to evacuate the area surrounding APO, tells Rachel that he wishes there were more time. "I would have asked you out."
Cliffhanger: Episode 11. VAUGHN'S ALIVE?!?!?!?! HUZZAH!!!!
Alias: Episode 8. Bob Brown. Sark with an American Accent! Or David Anders with his real accent. But still so fun:) Poor Rachel...
Cameo: Episode 12. Bradley Cooper<3
